Plan your Upgrade from Microsoft Windows Server 2003

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 will reach end of support on
July 14, 2015
. The US Department of Homeland Security has issued an official alert warning businesses of negative consequences if they do not upgrade their Server® 2003 operating systems by the deadline.

New software means greater demands from hardware, and legacy hardware doesn’t typically agree with today’s demands. When Windows Server 2003 hits end of support, there’ll be no more support, no more patches, no more updates. And your organization will be left with server racks filled with costly risks.

Now’s the perfect time to start thinking about server upgrades. Insight’s server solutions are the obvious answer to a serious problem.

Crypto Wall Virus reach the Lehigh Valley

This is to alert you of a very serious piece of malware that we have learned of quite recently.  The malware is called Crypto Wall, and is a variant of the Crypto Locker virus.  It is of a variety of malware referred to as ransom-ware.  These types of malware attempt to coerce the victim into paying a ransom to unencrypt their files.

There was one case we learned about in the Valley and were informed another business was infected by the virus as well. Please be very cautious of any email that you do not recognize and are suspicious of.  Do not open them and especially do not click any links contained within!

Additionally if you or anyone you know have Trend Micro Anti-Virus replace it right away.  It does not detect this serious infection.  Alternatives are:

For Businesses:  ESET Endpoint Antivirus

For Personal computers:  Panda Cloud Antivirus

If you have any questions or would like specific training on how to avoid contracting this virus, please contact us.

New Website Launch!

We are very excited to have finally launched our new website design! You’ll see things are looking pretty impressive around here and it’s all been done to fall inline with our service and business goals.

We selected Koury Enterprises to lead the redevelopment of our website.  They worked with out staff to create the design you now see.

A few of our goals with the new website were to make it faster, easier to navigate for users, and easier for us to manage/update. Most of all, we wanted to help our clients get to know us better. If you take a look around the site I think you’ll get a pretty good idea of who we are and what we do as a company.

Please share your thoughts of the new design in the comments below.
